Government Girls Primary School Rasool Nagar is situated in Rasool Nagar, a village at 14 km to south of Kasur city. This is one of the ten schools where Good Thinkers Organization for Human Development constructed toilets with financial support of Australian High Commission under its Direct Aid Program. Prior to construction of toilets in this school by Good Thinkers Organization, the sanitation problems were on peak provoking several health and academic issues for students and teachers as well. The school consists of 208 students (all girls) and 4 teachers with three class rooms. There was only one toilet catering to sanitation needs of all students and teachers; however the toilet was dirty and of poor condition. The students either had to stand in queues for using toilets or had to go back to home for meeting their sanitation needs. Many of the times, the students had to keep their need unaddressed; and in many cases, they had to practice open defecation.

One day during outreach Mr. Humayun Aslam outreached the Zeshan’s family for enrollment in DIC of working children when the orientation session was given to Mr. Abdul Razaqon Education and child rights theyadmitted all this but refuse with heavy heart. Then next day in his absences I again Contact with his Wife and again try to mobilized her after listening all benefits of education she promised to talk with her husband on this and try to convince her Husband after very next day she send her Son to DIC who was actually supporting the family. Shewished to educate her Son and she wanted a change in her family. Shecomes to DIC for Zeshan enrollment with him after the successful conversation with her husband. Before coming to DIC Zeshan was dull, puzzle and always frightened. He did not play with his friendsever. He is one of all those children who are deprived off all kinds of Health, education, and recreational facilities. After joining the DIC Zeshan received different sessions on H&H and psychological counseling and spends regular time in recreational room.
